"Sambal" evokes the aroma and taste of a spicy paste of onions, garlic, with chili cooked in oil - and is synonymous with Malaysian and Singaporean food. In keeping with its name, Sambal Malaysian Restaurant offers authentic Malaysian Nyonya and Hawker style food experience with its rich, spicy flavors.

 

Sambal is a fresh dining experience with a unique flavor located at 285-297 Lane Cove Road with seating for 90 diners. The restaurant is owned and operated by Nancy Poon and Andrew Tan.

 

Our menu has been inspired by the diverse heritage of Malaysia which uniquely combines the Malay, Indian, and Chinese gastronomic heritage.
